Job Overview
This Monday to Friday work pattern opportunity is for dedicated individuals to join our Day Supports team as Care Assistants. This role offers diverse experiences from creative activities and outings to developing independent living skills and advocating for individuals, all aimed at helping each person reach their full potential.
No two days are the same. From engaging with people with Autism to supporting individuals through a variety of activities, you will play a vital part in empowering lives.
Key Qualifications
* FETAC/QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care/Healthcare or relevant qualification completed
* Motivated, compassionate and energetic team players required
* Strong commitment to empowering individuals through a person-centred approach essential
* Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a dynamic team necessary
* Knowledge of the framework guiding our supports valuable
* Previous experience working with people with Autism and one year experience in Intellectual Disability highly desirable
* Full driving licence an advantage
* Openness to providing supports across various activities expected
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including good listening skills required
As a voluntary organisation regulated by HIQA, we provide person-centred services including residential, respite and day services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the south Dublin area.
