The Job
The B2B Sales Manager is responsible for leading and delivering energy supply sales growth across SME and Large Energy User segments. The role drives a high‑performing team of Business Development Managers, coordinates cross‑sell and upsell of energy supply and integrated solutions, and leads the evolution of digital B2B sales in partnership with Marketing.
What you’ll be doing
Sales Leadership & Performance
Lead and manage a team of BDMs to deliver revenue, margin, and growth targets across B2B segments
Drive performance across multiple sales channels: Field Sales, Broker / TPI channels, Emerging digital channels
Develop and execute sales plans aligned to overall commercial strategy
Monitor pipeline, conversion, and performance metrics, implementing corrective actions when required
Channel Development & Management
Define and optimise channel strategies to maximise market penetration and profitability
Strengthen broker/TPI relationships to drive consistent and scalable growth
Ensure alignment across channels to avoid conflicts and maximise customer lifetime value
Cross‑Sell & Integrated Solutions
Coordinate the upsell of core energy supply alongside energy services (e.g. Solar, CHP, Heat Pumps, O&M solutions)
Work closely with specialist teams to ensure seamless customer propositions
Embed a whole‑solution approach across the sales function
Digital Sales Leadership
Lead the development and execution of digital B2B sales channels
Partner with Marketing to define customer journeys, campaigns, and lead generation strategies
Drive adoption of digital tools, CRM optimisation, and automation within the sales function
Champion data‑driven decision making and performance tracking
Skills & Experience
Extensive B2B sales leadership experience in energy or a related sector, with a strong track record in delivering commercial targets and managing multi‑channel sales
Leading and developing high‑performing teams, and influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Deep understanding of the B2B energy market, including supply, pricing, and regulatory dynamics
Expertise in multi‑channel sales strategy, customer segmentation (SME and large users), and integration of energy services to drive commercial growth and long‑term customer value
