About the Role:
* Lead defined development projects including co-development projects with industry partners.
* Ensure completion of relevant supporting design documentation in compliance with applicable procedures.
* Assist in the development of files required for regulatory submissions.
* Develop and monitor project Gantt charts or other planning tools to enable project tracking.
* Work with and manage both internal and external resources to complete necessary project activities.
* Incorporate relevant design expertise and experience in projects aligned with product pipeline strategy.
* Drive creativity within project teams.
* Support management of research and development laboratory.
* Search for best-in-class technologies among competitors to support innovation roadmap.
* Implement structures respecting existing patents; strive for creation of value-adding patents annually.
* Support maintenance of operational budgets for applicable programs.
* Design, implement, and manage validation procedures for new biomedical implant related processes.
* Stay up-to-date with developments in bone regeneration through review of current scientific literature, networking, and attending scientific congresses.
Requirements:
* Strong project management skills are required, as well as experience leading cross-functional project teams.
* Development process from concept through production to commercialization.
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
