The Role
We're looking for a reliable Rigid Truck Driver to join a busy distribution operation. This role involves home deliveries to residential customers, along with branch and inter-branch deliveries.
When not out on the road, you'll assist within the branch – so a team-player attitude is essential.
Key Duties
6. Home deliveries to customers (professional & courteous approach required)
7. Call customers ahead of delivery to confirm arrival times
8. Safe loading, transport & unloading of goods
9. Branch and inter-branch deliveries
10. Assist with warehouse/branch duties when not driving
11. Daily vehicle checks & cleanliness
12. Follow all road safety & H&S procedures
Requirements
13. Full C (Rigid) Licence
14. Valid CPC & Tachograph Card
15. Previous delivery or customer-facing driving experience (preferred)
16. Good communication & customer service skills
17. Reliable, punctual & safety-conscious
18. Happy to support branch operations when required
