Overview of the role
Also known as a "Presales Consultant," "Sales Consultant," or "Sales Engineer," the Solution Consultant is responsible for owning the solutioning throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to companies to transform their customer’s experience. The Solution Consultant works alongside colleagues, participates in building team culture, and supports the sales team to create solutions for prospects and customers.
To succeed, you should have a strong desire to set the vision, translating business objectives into practical recommendations. The Solution Consultant acts as a trusted advisor during the customer’s transformational journey. This role is Dublin based.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts, to key decision-makers to address their business issues and needs, demonstrating business value.
* Coordinate and own the entire solution cycle through collaboration with high-performing teams.
* Leverage industry experience to incorporate and develop a perspective based on Salesforce’s solutions.
* Understand and articulate the benefits of Salesforce at all organizational levels, including IT staff, managers, and C-level executives.
* Present compelling Salesforce and partner solutions while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
* Display initiative, self-motivation, and deliver high-quality results, meeting expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
Personality Attributes/Experience:
* Understand the unique business requirements across multiple industries and translate them into a compelling vision and roadmap.
* Proven success in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training within a software organization.
* Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
* Ability to collaborate with team members to solve problems in energizing environments.
* Inquisitive, practical, passionate about technology, and eager to share knowledge.
* Curious about understanding why and how things happen, with a love for problem-solving and experimentation.
* Effective at explaining ideas and engaging people's attention.
* Willing and able to travel occasionally.
* Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
* Degree or equivalent experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on core proficiencies, including extracurricular leadership, military service, volunteer roles, or work experience.
