Job Title: Press Brake Operator

About us:
Cental Engineering is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend sheet metal as per job orders and blueprints.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Select and install appropriate tooling and dies.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, protractors).
Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality.
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience operating press brake machinery (preferably CNC).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Basic math and geometry skills.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in metalworking or CNC operation.
Experience with other fabrication equipment (e.g., lift tables, cranes).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
