Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Banking Associate with 2 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) to join a market‑leading Banking & Finance team. This role offers the chance to work on sophisticated financing transactions for some of the world’s most prominent financial institutions, corporations, and private equity sponsors.
Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters, including corporate lending, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and restructuring.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, agreements, and other related documentation.
Supporting clients on cross‑border transactions by collaborating with colleagues across the firm’s global network.
Providing strategic advice on regulatory compliance and risk management in relation to banking and finance matters.
Managing multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining high‑quality standards under tight deadlines.
Building strong relationships with clients by understanding their commercial objectives and delivering tailored solutions.

Requirements

Qualified lawyer with 2 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in banking and finance law from a leading law firm or reputable in‑house legal team.
Strong academic background with a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
Proven experience working on complex financing transactions; cross‑border experience is highly desirable.
Excellent drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
Commercially astute with the ability to provide practical legal advice that aligns with clients’ business goals.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service in a fast‑paced environment.
