Your new company One of Corks most attractive employers is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team on a 6-month contract. This role involves processing Irish supplier invoices, resolving invoice queries, and supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively to deadlines. Experience with Office 365 is essential, with Agresso and Excel skills desirable.A great opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic environment. Your new role The person must have an interest/background in accounts payable or have previous experience in a similar sector. Will be responsible for the registering/processing of Irish Supplier Invoices. Assist in any other ad hoc duties as outlined by the Deputy Accounts Payable Manager/Accounts Payable Manager. What you'll need to succeed Strong analytical skills in resolving outstanding queries/issues with invoices. A proactive team player with the ability to multitask and work on their own initiative while working to tight deadlines. Must have strong organisational skills with good attention to detail. Strong customer focus, good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English are essential requirements of the post, together with the ability to liaise with staff and students at all levels in the university. Be proficient in office365. Experience in Agresso or similar accounting package.
