About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated production Operative to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for the packaging production of animal feed and bedding, including carrying out specific operations within the packaging process such as: manufacturing products and basic maintenance and cleaning of the packaging area.
Wages are negotiable and productivity based
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for housekeeping to the highest standards.
* Review production records
* Schedule bagging production
* Keep inventory of materials and order as needed
* Test and review feed/bedding quality
* Stay up to date on new technology and ways to make process improvements
* Maintain equipment and other equipment needed to perform duties such as loaders, scales etc.
* Responsible for completion of all necessary paperwork.
* Responsible for dealing with customers ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
* Adherence to safe working practices and Health and Safety instructions.
