Project Director Wanted: Lead Residential Development in Ireland
We are seeking a skilled Project Director to oversee the full lifecycle of a residential housing project in Offaly, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, implementing quality assurance, enforcing Health & Safety regulations, and maintaining site records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily site operations, including subcontractors, direct labor, and material coordination.
* Implement quality assurance and conduct regular site inspections.
* Enforce Health & Safety regulations, hold toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with RAMS.
* Maintain site records, reports, lookahead schedules, and all necessary documentation.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, local authorities, and utility providers.
* Monitor budget performance, assist quantity surveyors, and manage risk strategies.
* Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors towards program milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years' proven experience in project management, particularly on residential developments (housing, apartments, or mixed-use).
* Knowledge and application of Irish Building Regulations, certification standards (e.g., BCAR), and Safety requirements.
* Degree or Higher Diploma in Construction or relevant trade qualifications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
