Daughters of Charity Community Services: People and Facilities Manager The Daughters of Charity Community Services (DoCCS), located at 9 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, is a community-based organisation providing a range of educational, training and social care services for children, young people and adults living in Dublins North Inner City.
Our services are targeted to individuals and families experiencing socio-economic and educational disadvantage.
As a community education organisation that works for positive social change, we serve people by working with them as individuals and groups while remaining conscious of the wider systems to which they belong.
In our different capacities as a staff, we work closely together to deliver DoCCS vision and mission with a sense of common purpose.
About the role This role is a real opportunity for a person with HR knowledge and great administrative skills, who wants to grow their leadership and capacity.
We are looking for a People and Facilities Manager to join and support our organisation.
The role will report directly to our CEO.
This role will support each of the DoCCS services in all HR fields (80% of role), and will lead out on Talent Acquisition (recruitment, induction, reviews, training), HR Administration and Operations, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Employee relations, General HR support to management and staff, Governance Facilities oversight of the organisations daily operations (20% of role).
What we are looking for: We are looking for someone with an interest in working within the Charity/ Community Services sector, who enjoys working with people, is values led and interested in leading a strong HR and facilities platform to support the mission of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be part of the Leadership and Management team and through sound delivery will enhance the work of the organisation.
Preferred experience includes: Previous HR experience.
University Degree in relevant field and/or CIPD qualification.
Track record of delivering a high-level exceptional service to employees, colleagues and others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, results driven, and a collaborative and enthusiastic team player.
Proficient analytical and time management skills.
Has excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic, values led mindset.
Previous experience using HR systems is desirable.
Contract: This is a full time permanent contract, following completion of a successful probation period.
Hours of work: The hours of work are as follows, Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm with an early finish on Fridays 9am 1pm.
Annual Leave: 23 days and service days.
