Senior Manager R&D Engineering Services
Location: Cork, Ireland
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
6+ years of medical device design and development experience.
Experience leading a team as Project Lead or Team Lead.
Experience working in a medical device environment preferred.
Experience in test method development.
Proficiency with design software: SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Provide subject‑matter expertise in data collection, review, analysis and presentation.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of projections, forecasts and reporting.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams, prioritise work, and drive project success.
Track key business metrics and report progress to stakeholders and senior management.
Build and leverage cross‑functional relationships to develop best practices.
Lead functional excellence initiatives and deliver high‑quality technical deliverables.
Recruit, mentor and manage a team of engineers, designers, and technicians for the Neurovascular Division.
Oversee project implementation, vendor management, and development‑process tool implementation.

Senior Research Engineer - Electrical Systems
Location: Cork, Ireland
Qualifications

PhD in Electronics Engineering with 0–2+ years of academic or industrial experience, or Master's with 2–5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong experimental mindset and enthusiasm for hands‑on research.
Ability to work autonomously while thriving in international teams.
Excellent communication skills, confident presenting to diverse audiences.
Willingness to challenge assumptions and innovate beyond core expertise.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute technology research plans within time‑budget constraints.
Design, build, and test hardware prototypes and control strategies in lab environments.
Translate complex ideas into clear reports and stakeholder presentations.
Contribute directly to long‑term technology roadmaps and lead major subsystem projects.
Support proposals for externally funded research initiatives.
Collaborate with universities, government bodies, national laboratories, and industry partners.
Research areas include high‑power‑density power electronics, power distribution architectures, EMI analysis, converter control on DSPs/FPGAs, and high‑voltage mitigation.

Senior Process Development Engineer - Advanced Operations
Location: Cork, Carrigtwohill, Ireland
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
Strong experience in Federal/medical device manufacturing and supplier development.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
Experience with lean/ Six Sigma problem‑solving and PPAP processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Supplier PPAPs and develop PPAP plans with NPI teams and suppliers.
Coordinate validation, measurement system analysis, material certifications, and environmental compliance.
Run PPAP meetings, ensuring accountability and technical rigour.
Apply lean/ Six Sigma methodologies to continuous process improvement.
Develop process‑technology road‑mapping activities and drive innovation for future launches.
Work with quality and metrology to develop testing and inspection protocols.
Perform First Article Inspections, capability studies, and maintain production documentation.
Support new product introductions, training manufacturing teams, and ensure GMP compliance.

Principal Engineer – Development Infrastructure
Locations: Dublin, Galway or Cork, Ireland
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
State‑oriented chartered status or working towards it.
Experience designing and delivering civil infrastructure projects from feasibility to handover.
Skillable in MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and DMRB/DMURS.
Ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Experience conducting site inspections, test witnessing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Own project tasks from conception to detailed design and construction stages.
Guide entry‑level engineers and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver quality outputs.
Apply technical knowledge on drainage, surface water, flood risk, and pavement design.
Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures, manage risks, and maintain program budgets.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate designs.

Senior Product Security Engineer – Resilient Development (EMEA)
Qualifications

Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top Ten).
Linux security expertise: POSIX permissions, ACL, SELinux, seccomp, namespaces, TPM, secure boot, etc.
Programming experience in Python, C/C++, with willingness to learn Go.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline security tools (Tekton, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Container orchestration knowledge: Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Security certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, or similar are a plus.
Experience with AI‑enabled products is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Engage with engineering teams to promote secure development across Red Hat technologies.
Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and realistic threat simulations.
Identify potential weaknesses in software systems and recommend mitigations.
Enable product road‑maps to mitigate risk and adhere to security policies.
Document security references for CVE pages and community engagement.
Communicate security issues and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
