The Maintenance Technician role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. This position involves carrying out repair and maintenance tasks of all process and/or facilities equipment to achieve an acceptable level of production output in full compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out repair and maintenance tasks of all process and/or facilities equipment, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
2. Input data into the maintenance PM system, including the operation of such systems.
3. Work independently and take responsibility whenever needed.
4. Train others on equipment, maintenance tasks, set up procedures, and safety awareness.
5. Operate and maintain all equipment to achieve an acceptable level of production output.
6. Complete all duties according to relevant SOPs.
7. Adhere to relevant dress requirements in accordance with cGMP and PPE rules.
8. Conduct all maintenance duties safely and report any safety issues or concerns.
9. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in both the maintenance workshop and facilities area.
10. Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation.
11. Maintain good time-keeping and attendance at the workplace.
12. Support the team in achieving team goals and targets.
13. Attend team meetings as required.
14. Actively contribute to continuous improvements across the plant.
15. Provide backup support for other maintenance teams when needed.
16. Communicate equipment issues, PMs, repairs, and serious downtime accurately via email.
17. Comply with cGMP standards at all times.
Essential Criteria:
18. 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
19. Extensive understanding of utilities or maintenance facilities.
20. Experience with a preventative maintenance system.
21. Competence in operating and maintaining pneumatic systems and fault-finding diagnostics.
22. Fully understand health and safety and legal requirements for safe team operation.
23. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
24. Technical writing skills.
25. Good knowledge of cGMP.
26. Excellent interpersonal skills.
27. Understand site KPIs.
