Accounting Technician Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to provide administrative support in accounting and book-keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAGE and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pension Management: Manage pension schemes, ensure compliance with regulations, and report on pension activity.
* Payroll Processing: Process wages, bonuses, and expenses accurately and efficiently.
* Customer and Supplier Invoice Management: Manage invoices, allocate nominal accounts, and control ledgers.
* Bank Reconciliation and Weekly Bank Report Preparation: Reconcile bank statements, prepare weekly bank reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
* VAT and Revenue Compliance: Ensure VAT and revenue compliance, manage direct debit payments, and process customer and supplier transactions.
