Our client is on an ambitious growth journey — and they're looking for a
Head of Marketing
to lead ad the charge.
They are seeking a strategically minded and execution-focused
Head of Marketing
to run their marketing and communications function during an exciting phase of growth and brand evolution.
This senior person will be key in shaping the future of the brand, driving market positioning, and leading the delivery of marketing programmes that support business development, and stakeholder engagement.
You will operate at both strategic and tactical levels — balancing leadership and vision with hands-on delivery.
You will work closely with the MD, Senior Leadership Team and Sector Leads, to define and deliver marketing that aligns to the company's vision, mission, values and growth strategy.
You will bring their people on the marketing journey, using language that helps to share the growth ambitions and that brings key stakeholders on the journey.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Lead and embed the ongoing development and articulation of our client's brand and market positioning in alignment with our global growth strategy.
Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and experience across all touchpoints, while bringing your Sector Lead colleagues along the journey.
Translate strategic intent into clear brand expression and marketing narratives for multiple audiences: clients, talent, partners, and media.
Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute an annual marketing strategy and plan, with clear priorities, budgets, and KPIs.
Drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth across core sectors and regions.
Integrate traditional, digital, and AI-enhanced techniques into the marketing mix.
Champion client-centric, insight-led marketing thinking throughout the organisation.
Content, Campaigns & Digital
Oversee the creation of powerful content that showcases our client's thinking, talent, and impact — from thought leadership to project case studies.
Optimise the digital presence (website, SEO, social, email) and explore emerging digital trends including automation, generative AI and data-driven targeting.
Curate and deliver client-facing events, webinars, and conference participation to position the company as a leading voice in design and sustainability.
Internal & External Engagement
Collaborate with Sector and Project Leaders to support BD, RFPs, and pursuit marketing.
Work closely with our HR Team to develop internal campaigns that connect employees to our purpose, values and work.
Represent the company at key industry forums and networks to increase brand visibility and influence as appropriate.
Team Building & Agency Management
Define and build a lean & efficient marketing function to support our growth strategy, this will mean leaning into the utilisation and coordination of existing internal resources.
Manage relationships with creative, digital and PR agencies to deliver high-impact outcomes.
Create a culture of accountability, creativity, and commercial focus.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior B2B marketing, brand or communications role — preferably within the services sectors, or professional services.
Proven track record of developing and executing brand and marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
Experience working across complex stakeholder environments (internally and externally).
Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, content creation, and event management.
Exposure to AI and emerging marketing technologies is preferable.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline.
