ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
4. Actively participate in product definition, specification, and implementation.
5. Design and build robust client-side and server-side architecture.
6. Practice and promote effective software engineering methodologies, keeping up with technological advances to optimize the software.
7. Support and improve the software development environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
To excel in this role, you should have:
8. At least 2 years of experience in web application product development
9. Working experience with Python ( 2 years + )
10. Core technical requirements: DevOps, AWS, Python Flask, REST API, HTML, Javascript, Bootstrap, CSS
11. Experience working as part of an Agile SCRUM team
12. Agile toolsets, i.e., JIRA and Confluence
13. Knowledge of related frameworks including one of Flask / Django / FastAPI
14. Familiar with server-side templating languages such as Jinja2
15. Comfortable with unit, integration, and functional testing
16. Experience in building and connecting API integrations
17. Use of automated build process tools, version control systems such as Git
18. Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL (PostGIS)
19. DevOps experience
20. Good AWS-specific skills in DevOps covering the areas of security, deployment infrastructure, and software release workflows
21. Expertise with Docker containerization
22. Experience using AWS (EC2, VPC, ELB, ECR ) or Azure / Google equivalent
23. Familiar with CI/CD and Bitbucket pipelines, Github actions, or similar
BENEFICIAL:
24. Experience working with ISO standards is a plus (e.g. ISO27001, ISO13485, etc)
