We are looking for a highly motivated and friendly individual who will be the first line of contact for our clients.Benefits:Life AssuranceDiscount platform (supermarkets, high street, cinema & travel)25 days annual leave (28 days after 3 years of service)Enhanced absences (sickness and parental)Learning & Development opportunities40 hpw, full time permanent contract.Duties And ResponsibilitiesGeneral AdministrationScan and book in submission forms using the LIMS system, ensure hard and electronic copies filed correctlyAnswering telephone calls - fielding out calls and answering queries appropriatelyNotifying clients of report delays and/or inform clients of additional chargesEnsure deviations/inaccuracies are kept to a minimum and where found, are recordedInput data from external tests into the LIMs system and answering/forwarding queries from external providersUpdating Client Records as appropriateResolve internal queries regarding charge codesOrdering, Packing and shipping supplies for clientsGiving Laboratory staff, Laboratory Manager and Pathologists administration support as required.Assist in managing any remote/onsite pathologists to ensure that they receive the correct numbers of cases at the appropriate time every day and act as their point of contactAssist the business development team in providing data and notifying of any concerns raised by clientsGreeting visitors / Help take in deliveriesAssist with client relations and client management including using Pathport and HubspotLogistics CoordinationMonitor Emails and phones and book internal/external couriers where appropriateKeep courier spreadsheets up to dateCoordinate with logistics team and Business development team on changes or amendments in courier routesEnsure any complaints or missed collections are reported and logged through the correct channelsValues and BehaviorsCommunicate efficiently, courteously and with clarity at all times, whether face to face, telephone or electronic methods referring enquiries to senior staff where appropriate.To undertake any other reasonable duty, when requested to do so by an appropriate manager.Continuously improve through feedback either from clients, line manager, updated scientific recommendations or follow up tests.Be an ambassador for Diversity and Inclusion.Communicate and role model the values and behaviors of VPG and ZoetisComplete all statutory, mandatory and essential training within timeframes specified.Demonstrate on going competency against training plans and participate positively in CPD (continuous professional development) activitiesAlways comply with SOPs; inform your manager and quality department immediately should there be an error in an SOP or if it needs updating.Sustain and promote the aims, ethics and aspirations of the company and participate enthusiastically in the growth and prosperity of the company.Maintain confidentiality of the department and use discretion where necessary.
