About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered veterinary nurse to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
* Hours: 42.5 hours/week across 5 days
* Weekends: 1 in 5 Saturdays
* No out-of-hours or on-call duties
* Caseload: Small animal focus with varied daily duties across consultations, inpatient care, and theatre work
You will be encouraged to pursue your interests and contribute to patient care in a meaningful way, working collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgery, monitoring anaesthesia, and maintaining surgical safety, delivering nurse consultations and providing client education on preventative health, and monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients, administering medications and supporting recovery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be registered with the VCI or eligible for registration, have a strong work ethic, empathy for clients, and a team-focused attitude, and be willing to continue developing clinical skills and knowledge.
