Hygiene SupervisorNaas, Co. Kildare | Food ManufacturingI am currently working with a well established food manufacturing organisation in Co. Kildare who are seeking an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to lead site hygiene operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance across the factory.This is a key leadership role within the hygiene function, working closely with Production, Technical, Maintenance, and Health & Safety teams to ensure effective factory handovers and audit readiness.The RoleReporting to the Hygiene Manager, the Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible for:Leading, supervising, and developing a team of hygiene operativesDelivering daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning schedules in line with production and staffingEnsuring strict adherence to cleaning sequences and the Hygiene Management SystemSupervising, auditing, and signing off hygiene activities and documentationManaging hygiene labour hours, expenditure, and staff coverOrdering, controlling, and managing hygiene chemicals and consumablesMaintaining cleaning instructions (CICs), SOPs, and hygiene schedules to BRC and customer standardsManaging COSHH compliance and ensuring all SDS and MSDS documentation is in placeConducting internal hygiene audits and inspectionsManaging chemical dosing systems, equipment upkeep, and supplier relationshipsCarrying out ATP, environmental, and pathogen swabbing in line with site schedulesSupporting microbiological investigations and hygiene improvement projectsOverseeing cleanliness of staff facilities, offices, and common areasSupporting customer and third party audits and representing Hygiene as requiredHealth & Safety ResponsibilitiesConducting COSHH and risk assessments and documenting safe systems of workEnsuring hygiene staff are trained, competent, and compliant with all safety proceduresManaging PPE availability and usageInvestigating and reporting hazards, incidents, and accidentsActing as an active member of the site Health & Safety CommitteeThe Ideal BackgroundProven experience leading a hygiene team within a food manufacturing environmentExperience working to BRC or equivalent food safety standardsStrong understanding of cleaning systems, methodologies, and hygiene chemicalsExperience driving continuous improvement in site hygiene standardsFlexible approach to working, including evenings, nights, and occasional weekendsExperience with audits, compliance, and documentation driven environmentsStrong people management, communication, and organisational skillsGood computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and ExcelWhy Consider This Role?Key supervisory role within a regulated food manufacturing siteHigh level of responsibility and visibility across the businessOpportunity to drive measurable improvements in hygiene and food safety standardsStrong collaboration with cross functional site teamsThe Next Step for youShould this position be of interest to you please submit your CV to Jessica from Next Generation Recruitment using the apply button.Next Generation will never share your data outside of our organisation without your prior written consent.Please read our Data Protection Policy on our website.If you require any reasonable accommodations during the recruitment process please let us know and we will do our best to support you.
