This temporary role provides administrative and document support to a team of legal professionals in global law firm environment. The position involves preparing legal documents, coordinating workflow, and supporting fee earners with a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming calls, take messages, and handle general communication
* Prepare, format, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and presentations
* Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems
* Assist with diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistics
* Support time entry processes and update internal records as required
* Arrange travel and process expense claims
* Coordinate with internal support teams for printing, scanning, document production, couriers, and office services
* Conduct basic research and assist with data entry
* Provide occasional support to reception (e.g., greeting clients, answering calls)
* Ensure clear handover notes and maintain consistent service in the event of team absences
* Carry out any additional administrative duties necessary to support the legal team
Skills & Experience
* Prior experience in a legal support or administrative role (law firm experience advantageous)
* Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Excellent organisation, communication, and multitasking skills
* High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Fast, accurate typing and strong document formatting skills
* Team-focused, adaptable, and able to learn new systems quickly
