Ayrton Group are seeking an EHS Consultant to join our client, a global technology group, at their location in Dublin City.The EHS Consultant will implement, administer and sustain EHS programs and procedures per company and applicable EHS regulatory requirements. The scope of work would be across both Irish and broader EMEA operations/projects.The EHS Consultant performs standard work to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and company requirements. They will build collaborative and productive working relationships, network with, and appropriately involve operations management, support functions, and employees.This is a 12 month contract position with the potential for further extension.Key Responsibilities:Performing EHS risk assessments and implementing effective programs, procedures, practices and standard work to ensure regulatory compliance and protect employees, communities, and the environment. This could include assessment of both office, R&D and other activities.Assisting in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the workplace to ensure compliance with Company EHS requirements ensuring a safe and secure workplace for employees, visitors, vendors, and guests.Conducting inspections, investigations, audits and record control measures that will identify, evaluate and control unsafe EHS hazards or risks.Supporting EHS education and training.Supporting emergency response planning and implementation including documentation, training, drills, etc.Conducting EHS incident investigations to determine and implement root cause corrective actions.Collaborating with the business and operations management, and support functions, to implement and administer EHS programs.Key Requirements:10+ years’ experience in Health and Safety is preferred.Additional H&S qualifications/experience such as Fire, Environmental, Construction or Event Safety would be advantageous.Experience with EHS compliance management, including regulatory and consensus standards.An effective communicator with the ability to send clear, concise and consistent messages (both verbally and written).Ability to effectively participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and diverse environment.Able to effectively communicate with and influence multiple stakeholders including senior leadership.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently.Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solver, project management skills and strong focus on results.You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.Apply for this jobUpload your CVI consent to Ayrton Group storing and using this information for the purposes of contacting me with regards to my query.
