Application Support Manager – Europe
I am hiring an experienced Application Support Manager to lead the European function supporting a suite of critical business applications. This role oversees regional operations within a global, "follow-the-sun" support model, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless delivery of key systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop a regional Application Support team across cloud and hybrid environments
2. Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in support processes
3. Manage communication with business stakeholders and ensure transparency
4. Collaborate with global technology and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and enhance performance
About You:
5. 5+ years' experience in Application Support, Development, or Infrastructure Services
6. 2+ years in a leadership or management role
7. Strong knowledge of Unix/Windows, SQL/RDBMS, scripting, and at least one enterprise language (Java, .NET, Python)
8. Familiarity with ITIL or LEAN standards
9. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
10. AWS cloud experience or certification
11. Background in financial services or regulated environments
