We are seeking a Master Data Governance Manager for a full-time, permanent role reporting to the GPN director of finance transformation. You will own the master data agenda across all GPN brands, channels, and systems to ensure consistency, data definitions, and integrity.
Responsibilities
Leadership
* Lead the implementation of master data management and governance frameworks across GPN.
* Manage strategic master data management activities.
* Establish and oversee master data ownership and responsibilities within GPN.
* Ensure data quality for Material, Customer, Vendor, and Consumer data across GPN.
* Assist the business in maintaining complete, accurate, and high-quality master data to support operations, performance, and insights.
Process Optimization
* Collaborate with product, customer, and operations teams to understand data requirements and support their processes with master data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with IT teams to integrate master data management processes into systems and workflows.
* Coordinate with the GBS master data governance CoE to implement appropriate technical systems across data domains.
Governance & Reporting
* Develop and enforce data governance policies in collaboration with the audit team to ensure compliance.
* Establish governance structures within GPN, including data stewards, process owners, and governance councils.
* Regularly audit master data to identify and resolve discrepancies, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
* Lead the development of master data management processes within the Data Hub.
* Implement data quality frameworks and tools to monitor and improve data quality.
Skills and Experience
* Qualified with 5+ years in master data management, data governance, or data engineering, preferably in CPG/digital commerce.
* Knowledge of data governance frameworks and proven implementation experience.
* At least 3 years of people management experience.
* Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships at a senior level.
* Ability to plan, prioritize, and drive results.
* Collaborative style, experienced in agile environments, and focused on growth.
* Data-driven with a focus on KPIs and results.
* Self-starter with a team-oriented mentality.
* Passion for the industry and products.
