An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead warehouse, inventory, transport, and distribution operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, compliant, and cost-effective management of warehouse and logistics activities while supporting operational excellence and customer service performance.Reporting into the Operations function, you will oversee all warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, inventory control, dispatch, transport coordination, and external distribution management. You will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a high-performing team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch.Manage inventory accuracy and ensure full product traceability through effective systems and controls.Coordinate domestic and international logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective customer deliveries.Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight partners, and transport suppliers.Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams, promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.Oversee warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP processes to support operational excellence.Manage company goods vehicle compliance, maintenance schedules, and fleet-related requirements.Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, Customer Service, and other key stakeholders.About YouYou are a hands-on operational leader with strong warehouse and logistics management experience within a manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environment.You thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a proven track record of driving performance improvements while maintaining the highest standards of safety and complianceDegree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse and logistics management.Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a regulated production environment.Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.Understanding of food safety and quality standards such as BRC, FSSC 22000, HACCP, or ISO standards.Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or 5S is advantageous.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Jessica Kennedy.
