We are seeking a talented and driven Environmental Professional to fill this key position within our organization.
Job Summary:
This role involves working with a diverse portfolio of large organizations across Ireland, delivering high-quality, regulatory-compliant environmental services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing EPA licence applications and compliance reports is a key responsibility.
* Supporting or leading the development of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) is also a key responsibility.
* Designing and implementing Environmental Management Systems, including ISO frameworks, is an important aspect of the role.
* Coordinating with regulatory authorities, clients, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders is required.
* Conducting environmental audits and inspections is a critical part of the role.
Requirements:
* An Honours Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working with EPA IE/IPC licensed facilities—either in a consultancy role or directly within such facilities—is necessary.
* A solid understanding of Irish environmental/sustainability legislation and EU BAT/BREF standards is essential.
* Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
* Strong technical writing and reporting capabilities, with high attention to detail, are necessary.
* The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office setup.
* Occasional travel to client sites may be required.
