Job Purpose
The Sophie's F&B Supervisor plays a critical operational and leadership role. This position ensures the smooth running of daily F&B service, including restaurant, bar, and event operations, by overseeing teams, maintaining service quality, and upholding brand and health standards.
Acting as the senior on‑shift presence, the Sophie's F&B Supervisor leads by example, engages directly with guests, manages team performance, and coordinates back‑of‑house communication to deliver an elevated and memorable dining experience.
Key Areas
Overseeing day‑to‑day Food & Beverage operations across restaurant, bar, and events
Leading and supporting front‑of‑house teams during service
Ensuring exceptional guest experience in line with brand standards
Coordinating with kitchen, bar, and events teams to maintain seamless operations
Driving service standards, team development, and revenue performance
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
Act as a visible and approachable floor leader, ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
Monitor ambiance, cleanliness, and overall service presentation during shifts
Engage guests with genuine hospitality and uphold brand standards at all times
Ensure smooth table management, reservations, and hosting practices
Operational Coordination
Ensure accurate and timely pass expedition by liaising with kitchen and bar teams
Monitor food and beverage presentation and quality before delivery to guests
Use POS systems (e.g., Micros) for smooth billing and end‑of‑day reconciliation
Coordinate F&B operations with events, private dining, and hotel‑wide functions
Compliance, Inventory & Standards
Enforce food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations in all F&B areas
Conduct daily inspections of restaurant, bar, and service stations to ensure readiness
Assist in inventory control, ordering, and cost management
Uphold compliance with internal SOPs, licensing laws, and operational policies
Preferred Experience & Skills
2‑3 years in a supervisory or managerial F&B role within a high‑end hospitality environment
Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team‑building skills
In‑depth knowledge of F&B service, food safety practices, and operational procedures
Experience with hospitality systems (OpenTable, Micros, or similar)
