Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Controls
* Execute and manage budget adjustments and rebalancing activities, including quarterly purchase order rebalancing
* Own budget reconciliation processes and ensure alignment across financial systems
* Perform month-end activities such as accruals, reclassifications, and validation checks
* Manage working capital and seasonality adjustments
* Coordinate release of financial obligations and ensure timely follow-up
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure audit-ready documentation
Systems & Data Management
* Update and maintain financial data across relevant finance and reporting tools
* Support reconciliations between financial systems in collaboration with key stakeholders
* Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reports and dashboards
Stakeholder Support
* Support senior finance stakeholders with ad-hoc financial analysis and requests
* Work closely with project, resource, and delivery teams on operational finance matters
* Provide additional support during peak cycles such as budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly financial activities
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Degree or qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
* Experience in a finance operations, accounting, or shared services environment
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high transaction volumes
* Solid understanding of core accounting concepts (accruals, reclassifications, reconciliations)
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to work effectively in a structured, deadline-driven environment
Desirable
* Experience supporting IT, PMO, or project-based financial environments
* Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or cost tracking activities
* Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools
* Part-qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification
