Job Title: Theatre Box Office Operations Supervisor
This key customer-facing role is pivotal to the successful operation of our theatre's box office.
* We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to provide front-line service and process ticket sales and refunds for personal and telephone callers in a timely, courteous and effective manner.
* The ideal candidate will assist customers with general enquiries about facilities, events and activities, ensuring they have up-to-date information on current and future performances.
* The role involves supporting the box office manager with day-to-day functions including group/sports and social bookings, reporting and issuing of agency tickets as required.
* Responsibilities also include assisting with unlocking new sports and social/group bookings for key events across our programme.
* You will oversee the status of reservations and convert them to confirmed bookings.
* All usual box office cashier duties, including daily cash reconciliation, will be performed by the successful candidate.
* Maintaining accurate customer records on the ticketing system is an essential part of this role.
* In the absence of the box office manager, you will supervise the box office sales team.
* The role also requires supporting new team members with training and knowledge sharing.
* Please note that flexibility and availability to work outside regular hours, including weekends, is essential for this position.
