Role: Transport Planner Location: North Dublin Salary: €45k - €50k Role Requirements: Develop and implement transport plans and schedules. Monitor daily operations and adjust plans as required to ensure on-time performance. Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers. Optimise routing for cost-efficiency, service levels, and environmental impact. Use transport management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools to analyse and improve route performance. Ensure compliance with Irish, UK and EU transport laws and regulations, including HSA and RSA guidelines. Analyse transport data and produce regular performance and cost reports. Respond to customer service issues related to deliveries or transport delays. Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain planning. Candidate Requirements: 2+ years of experience in transport planning, Domestic, UK or Europe. Proficiency with TMS software. Knowledge of transport regulations in Ireland and the EU. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
