We are supporting a multi-national client in hiring a
Senior R&D Engineer
for a
12 month contract
.
This role will support the design, development, and commercialization of innovative medical devices.
Based in Galway, you'll work cross-functionally to turn research into real-world solutions that improve patient care.
Responsibilities
Lead design and development of medical devices from concept to launch
Troubleshoot technical issues and support problem resolution
Conduct and manage studies to support product development
Translate research findings into manufacturable solutions
Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
4+ years of relevant experience in medical device R&D
Strong design, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with regulated environments (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA)
Project management experience is a plus
