Goods-In / Warehouse Operative
Location: Factory
Reports to: Factory / Operations Manager
Role Overview
The Goods-In / Warehouse Operative plays a critical role in ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail and reliability are essential — mistakes here cost time and money.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, check, and sign in all incoming goods against delivery dockets
* Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly
* Accurately book stock in and out of the system
* Maintain organised storage of materials and finished goods
* Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stock takes
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
* Load and unload deliveries safely
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
* Adhere to all health & safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse or goods-in role preferred
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good numeracy and basic IT skills
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Mandatory Certifications
* Manual Handling Certificate (required)
* Safe Pass (required)
Desirable
* Forklift experience or licence (advantage but not essential)
Experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment

Pay: €16.75 per hour
