Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Person-Centred Care Officer – Front-of-House to become a key part of our team. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming, professional, and respectful environment for all visitors, service users, and staff. As the first point of contact at reception, the post holder will model high standards of customer service in line with the North Dublin Home Care's values and play an active role in supporting person-centred care. The ideal candidate will be organised, approachable, and committed to enhancing the experience of all who engage with North Dublin Home Care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle incoming calls, posts, queries, complaints, and communications effectively, escalating where necessary
· Maintain a professional front-of-house area, including receptions, meetings and training rooms
· Managing reception duties, and supporting care coordination by liaising with the Person-Centred Care Team to ensure schedules run smoothly
· Implement and support person-centred care plans to enhance each service user's quality of life, independence, and involvement in decision-making
· Maintain regular communication with service users, families, and home support workers, gathering feedback and promptly addressing any concerns
· As part of your planning procedures, you should also ensure that the appropriate stock is available for all departments within the business e.g. PPE – community staff, stationery – office staff
· Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards, including active participation in audits and inspections.
· Carry out any other duties or tasks as reasonably assigned by the Line Manager to support the effective operation of the service.
Qualifications & Experience:
* A relevant qualification in administration, management, or health and social care (e.g., QQI Level 5 or an equivalent recognised certification).
* Experience in supporting in a customer service & service demands capacity.
* Experience in person-centred care & scheduling coordination is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in care management software and electronic records.
* Desirable: Knowledge of the Dawn Brooker VIPS Framework and regulatory standards (e.g., HIQA, HSE).

Pay: €32,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
