Medical Specialist Position
Our client is seeking a medical specialist to provide clinical consultancy services. The successful candidate will have experience in reviewing clinical information, writing appeal letters to private health insurers, and staying up-to-date with relevant clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing clinical data and providing expert opinions
* Writing persuasive letters to support clients' claims
* Staying current with the latest clinical practices and guidelines
* Traveling to various hospital sites in the Dublin area
* Participating in training sessions on health insurance rules and schedules of benefits
* Maintaining IT proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word
Requirements:
* Minimum 4-7 years of experience as a General Practitioner or hospital doctor in Ireland
* Registration with the Irish Medical Council and commitment to Continuing Medical Education (CME)
* Non-clinical medical indemnity coverage
* Familiarity with the Irish healthcare system
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
