Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of IDA regional targets for the West Region and manage a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients.
The ideal candidate will contribute proactively to advance IDA's strategic interest in the Region through marketing the West, in partnership with colleagues, as a location for new FDI.
In addition to marketing, the role requires the individual to collaborate and influence Colleagues internally; with regional stakeholders externally to support the winning of investments and work with the existing client base to secure investment opportunities.
Key Tasks
Manage a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients to support their transformation and continued presence in the regions using the suite of IDA supports/products.
Prepare marketing value propositions, content, and itineraries to maximise the investment opportunities for the Region.
Support the Regional Manager in enhancing the regions business eco-system through networking and relationship building across regional and national stakeholders.
Daft, co-ordinate, manage, and accompany visiting itineraries and e-site visits to the business locations within the region.
Support the Regional Manager on the delivery of appropriate and timely solutions to challenges faced by existing and potential clients in the Region.
Provide close and effective start-up assistance and support for new client companies establishing in the region.
Represent IDA Ireland at a range of meetings and functions and as required pro-actively speak on behalf of IDA Ireland outlining our role, strategy importance and economic impact of IDA nationally and regionally.
Collaborate with internal IDA divisions as part of the marketing proposition for the Region.
Ensure that the brand of IDA is held in high regard in the Region.

Additional Requirements
Ability to work well under pressure, flexibly as a member of a team and independently on own initiative in terms of time worked and tasks undertaken.
A relevant Level 8 third level business/sector related degree recognised on the National Qualification Framework is essential.
A full driving licence is essential.
Strong computer literacy skills.
Digital marketing and social media skills.
This role will require domestic travel, flexible working hours, and a willingness to work flexibly across regions on a regular basis.
Salary and Benefits
€52,026 to €74,725 per annum contributory superannuation.
Rising by long service increments to €76,521 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range).
