This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial management while supporting a diverse client portfolio, predominantly in the Retail sector.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and review of management accounts.Analyse and present weekly KPI reports to the Senior Account Manager.Identify and address financial control issues, recommending process improvements.Implement and monitor effective internal controls.Oversee the accounts payable function and ensure efficient processes.Manage working capital to optimise cash flow.Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations.Deliver financial control services and strategic support to clients.Key Requirements:Be either a senior Bookkeeper / Part-qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or significant experience of 5+ years in a similar positionStrong financial analysis and accounts preparation skills.Ability to train and supervise junior staff.Proficient IT skills, particularly in financial software and Excel.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Retail sector experience (advantageous but not essential).
