Junior Health and Safety Advisor – Cork/Tipperary
Ayrton Group have a requirement for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor, working with our client who are a leading building technologies and energy solutions company.
This position will involve visiting various pharmaceutical sites within the Cork and Tipperary regions weekly.
This role offers an initial 6 month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Vehicle included.
Key Responsibilities
Ensurecompliancewithallcurrentlegislation,includingcodesofpracticeandrelevantstandards.Assistinthemaintenanceofthecompanylegalregister.
ReviewandimplementHealth&Safetymanagementprocedures.
ReviewandimplementclientHealth&Safetystandards&procedures.
ReviewandimplementConstructionHealthandSafetyPlans.
Arrange,prepare,andcarryoutsiteinductions.
UpdateandmaintainallrecordsassociatedwiththeHealth&Safetymanagementsystem.
ReviewRiskAssessmentsandMethodStatementsasrequired.
Review and comment on Subcontractor RAMS.
ProvidemonthlyHSQEreport.
Arrange,co-ordinate,andminutesiteHealthandSafetymeetingsandcaptureactionplans.
Supporttheinvestigationofaccidentsanddangerousoccurrences,maintainingproperrecordsandcomplyingwithandreportingtorelevantbodies.
Key Qualifications
RecognisedqualificationinHealthandSafety,orsimilar.
1+yearexperiencewithintheHealth&Safetyconstructionindustry.
Excellentcommunication,problem-solving,andorganizationalskills.
Abilitytoworkonowninitiativeandbeinnovative.
Abilitytomanagemultipletasksandpriorities.
YoumustbelegallypermittedtoliveandworkinIreland.
