Located in the heart of the city on Cross Street, we're a bustling two-floor restaurant serving seriously good food from lunch through late into the evening. Downstairs buzzes with the energy of a city-centre lunch crowd and evening diners. Upstairs hosts everything from intimate celebrations to corporate gatherings. It's fast, it's fun, and when we're in full swing, there's nowhere quite like it.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take the reins of our floor operations. This is a key leadership position you'll be the driving force behind service standards, team morale, and the overall guest experience across both floors.
You'll lead a team of 6-8 across floor and bar, ensuring every service runs smoothly from first cover to last orders. You'll bring energy, presence, and the kind of hands-on approach that inspires a team to deliver their best work.
What You'll Do
* Lead and motivate your team through busy lunch and dinner services, setting the pace and the standard
* Own the floor manage reservations, table turns, and guest experience across two levels
* Recruit, train, and develop your team to deliver exceptional service
* Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure seamless service flow
* Handle guest queries and complaints with professionalism and warmth
* Manage rosters, stock ordering, and daily operational requirements
* Drive revenue through upselling, events, and repeat business
Who You Are
You're someone who thrives in the buzz of a busy service. You've got proven management experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or hotel environment you know what good looks like and you won't settle for less. You lead from the front, you inspire your team, and you genuinely love hospitality.
* Minimum 2 years' restaurant management experience in a busy environment
* Natural leader who builds strong, motivated teams
* Energetic, positive, and calm under pressure
* Strong communication and people skills
* Commercially minded you understand how to drive revenue and manage costs
* Passionate about food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences

* Contract:Permanent, Full-Time
* Hours:Varied shifts covering lunch and dinner service, including weekends
* Reports to:General Manager / Ownership
