Quality Manager required to work with us in Aine's Handmade Chocolates
Áine Hand Made Chocolate has been making deliciously smooth and creamy handmade Irish chocolate since 1999. The company was founded by Ann Rudden, a Master Chocolatier with seventeen years experience in the chocolate industry and a woman with a passion for her art. Her vision was to create chocolate as it should be - mouth watering, melt-in-the-mouth magic that is made with only the purest, freshest, natural ingredients. All or ingredients are sourced as far as possible locally.

Opportunity
Áine's Hand Made Chocolate is looking for a motivated and dynamic Quality & Technical Manager. This role ensures our products consistently meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance with BRC and customer requirements.
Based at the Áine's Handmade Chocolate, the role reports directly to the Managing Director
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and maintain Áine's Handmade Chocolate Quality Management System, including HACCP, BRC, and customer standards
* Oversee staff training, internal audits, plant inspections, and compliance reporting
* Manage product quality, food safety, and customer specifications
* Approve label copy and artwork to ensure food law compliance
* Handle customer complaints, identify trends, and implement corrective action.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage audits and inspections
* Monitor plant and product performance.
* Manage environmental testing and compliance
* Support and contribute to Health & Safety initiatives
* Stay up to date with food safety legislation and update QMS accordingly
Requirements
* Experience in a similar food manufacturing quality/technical role
* Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and food legislation
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
