Role Title:Basic Grade Clinical Photographer Job Reference Number:002356 Closing Date:Sunday, 24th May 2026 Purpose of the Role: The clinical photography department plays an important role in patient care by accurately recording (often over a period of days, months or years) the physical appearance of the condition and/or effects of treatment as they present. Photography provides an objective record at a given time and, if used to its full potential, a very powerful monitoring and audit tool. The department also provides a general photography service to the hospital including PR, event, teaching and research imaging. Required: We are looking for an enthusiastic clinical photographer with excellent technical ability, communication and organisational skills. The role requires a self-motivated individual capable of working in a scientific manner and in an environment that frequently requires an innovative approach. The candidate must hold the following requirements; The candidate must hold a degree in photography or in an industry-related field. Experience working in photography and with a track record of meeting deadlines. The candidate must have very good working knowledge of photography equipment and techniques and in industry standard software programs. Desired: Experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential as is membership of a professional body for clinical photography (IMI).
