Due to further expansion, we are hiring an LGV mechanic to work on our fleet of small vans within the Hannon Logistics network. Please note, candidates must have their Right to Work in Ireland in place.
Based within our new, modern workshop in Lusk, Co Dublin.

In this role, the successful candidate will perform van repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Duties And Responsibilities
You will be responsible for service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on our LGV vehicles including Mercedes Sprinter and Volkswagen Crafters and Caddy vans. Your duties will include:
* Servicing and planned safety inspections.
* MOT Preparation.
* Diagnosing faults.
* Working closely with the team and helping maintain our fleet of small vans essential to our Hannon Logistics operations.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm plus some additional weekends as required.
Essential
Knowledge, skills and experience required
* Be a time-served LGV mechanic
* Have previous experience of working on LGV fleets
* Have a full driving licence
* Good awareness of health and safety requirements
Desirable
* Knowledge of Mercedes and Volkswagen small vans.
