Job Title: Senior Environmental Manager New LUAS Projects
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Environmental Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning, design, procurement and delivery of large-scale linear infrastructure projects.
In this challenging and rewarding position you will lead the development of environmental strategies, plans and policies that align with organizational objectives. You will also oversee the implementation of environmental management systems across multiple project teams.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships, developing effective engagement strategies and driving sustainable outcomes through collaborative working practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
* a recognized third-level degree qualification (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent), preferably in environmental science/civil engineering or an allied discipline.
A strong track record in preparing coordinating auditing Environmental Impact Statements EIARs Natura Impact Statements NIS for large-scale linear infrastructure projects as well as critical review of feasibility optioneering reports sustainability plans EIARs NIS Experience technical knowledge relevant legislation policy standards EIA climate change guidance evaluation classification significance impacts Strong commitment promoting sustainability integrating principles into major infrastructure projects An appreciation working organization strong sustainability focus Specialist environment specialist e.g carbon assessment noise vibration air quality population human health landscape biodiversity etc Ideally implemented BREEAM ISO14001 EMS equivalent accreditation transport road transport transport similar scale complexity Strong leadership capabilities ability motivate others deliver objectives Effective stakeholder management communication skills written oral report writing engaging regulatory agencies authorities Demonstrable commitment continuing professional development Team player},
