We're seeking a dynamic, driven, and visionary Distilleries Operations Area Leader to take the reins of our Tullamore distillery operations and lead our teams into the next chapter of excellence.

What You Will Be Doing
* Lead production across Grain, Pot & Malt distilleries, and Spirit Supply, ensuring delivery against plan with precision, quality, and efficiency.
* Own the budget & manage both fixed and variable costs to ensure a lean, cost effective operation.
* Drive continuous improvement through innovation and process enhancements that elevate competitiveness, service, and quality.
* Champion transparency by compiling and publishing KPIs and leading performance reviews with site stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards through rigorous audit and assurance practices.
* Mitigate risks across safety, volume, quality, and service proactively and effectively.
* Build strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders, aligning operational needs with strategic goals.
* Shape the future by contributing to short, medium, and long-term planning including budgets, CAPEX, and site masterplans.
* Lead and inspire your team fostering engagement, development, and a culture of excellence.
* Champion diversity and inclusion, helping every employee create their own personal legacy within our values-driven culture.
Ideal Candidate
* Educated to degree level in either Chemistry/Science/Brewing discipline or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or acquired competency through significant experience.
* Demonstrable extensive competence in and experience of the Distilling / Brewing / Petrochemical / Pharmaceutical industries.
* Proven leader of leaders who can set and deliver objectives, develop and performance manage high performing teams and develop individuals to achieve their full potential.
* LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrable track record of utilising continuous Improvement techniques.
