Financial Records Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Records Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent organisational skills, and hands-on experience with bookkeeping software.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update financial records using Intact accounting software
* Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
* Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
* Prepare and post journal entries
* Monitor budgets and support monthly financial reporting
* Assist with payroll and employee expense tracking
* Support end-of-month and year-end closing procedures
* Liaise with external accountants or auditors when required

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
* Proficiency with Intact software is essential
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
