Description:

The role of the Rehabilitation Nurse is to provide high-quality patient care and support in a rehabilitation setting. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care consistent with educational training.

Responsibilities:

* Assess the basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
\
* Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
\
* Provide direct patient care, including administration of medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
\
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
\
* Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare providers.
\
\
Requirements:
\
\
* Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in becoming a Registered Nurse.
\
* Long-term care/rehab/assisted living experience preferred.
\
* Current license in the state of practice as a Registered Nurse.
\
* IV Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
\
* Current CPR/AED Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
\
