Sunflower Recycling is a community based recycling service in Dublin’s north east inner city. Since its inception in 1985, Sunflower has provided employment and training opportunities to several hundred longterm unemployed people, many of whom have progressed to full-time employment.We have a Board of Directors ,currently 9 members, 3 of whom will be retiring at our Annual General Meeting in June. We are looking for new Board members, specifically someone with Corporate Governance expertise. Board members attend approximately 9 Board meetings per year, held in our offices at Shamrock Terrace,Dublin 1, and are accessible via Zoom.This is an opportunity to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of a vital community development initiative in Dublin’s north east inner city.
