The HR Generalist is responsible for the implementation and delivery of day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, talent management, training, payroll, health & safety, employee relations, and employee engagement, ensuring the full spectrum of HR activities are delivered end to end.
HR Business Partnership / Operational HR
- Be the first point of contact for all HR-specific queries from management/employees, providing advice and timely responses.
- Compile and maintain HR records and data.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies and employment laws.
- Monitor the implementation of HR processes such as Performance Management System, Induction training, and probationary periods.
- Update policies as necessary.
- Administer and coordinate employee programs such as Tax saver travel tickets, Cycle to work scheme, Smart/Flex working applications, and remote working from abroad applications.
Recruitment
- Participate in the recruitment process, including defining needs, updating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, liaising with candidates and agencies, and participating in interviews.
- Oversee onboarding by preparing offer letters, contracts, conducting reference and compliance checks, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Payroll
- Prepare monthly payroll for Dublin, UK, and Milan.
- Ensure accurate administration of the CACI Pension Scheme, private health insurance, social reports, and surveys such as remuneration surveys and regulator surveys.
- Reconcile payroll with accounts.
Learning & Development
- Organise annual training plans for employees in Dublin and Milan, based on the training budget, by collecting needs, organising training, and monitoring progress.
- Implement dashboards to monitor training and development plans.
- Ensure the effective application of the performance management system across the organization.
