Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Engineer to lead our product development activities across multiple customer projects. This role involves translating customer requirements into robust, manufacturable medical device solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading concept development, engineering, and design verification stages of new product development. They will deliver mechanical design solutions for early-stage and late-stage product development, perform risk assessment and risk management activities in accordance with ISO 14971.
This individual will prototype and test concept designs and early engineering builds using Solid Works CAD software. They will develop user-focused product solutions optimised for manufacture, support pilot production trials to assess feasibility and mitigate design risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A minimum of 6 years' experience in medical device product development within a Class III environment is required.
* A strong understanding of manufacturing methods, mechanisms, materials tolerance analysis is essential.
* Extensive experience translating design inputs into engineering outputs is necessary.
