We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to work in the Waterford School District.
Position Details
* Position: Commercial HVAC Technician
* Responsibilities: Solving technical problems, developing documentation, supporting projects, performing maintenance and service on HVAC systems.
* Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday
* Wage: $35.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting problems quickly.
* Ensuring safety compliance with OSHA and facility measures.
* Monitoring safety practices and adjusting as needed.
* Working with supervisors to complete maintenance work orders safely and timely.
* Using various tools and instruments for diagnostics and repairs.
* Inspecting, operating, testing machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
* Communicating with operators to identify errors.
* Diagnosing and correcting mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and manuals.
* Replacing or repairing defective parts and reassembling equipment.
* Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring and components.
* Performing preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
* Maintaining accurate documentation for repairs and inventory.
Position Requirements
* Minimum two years of commercial HVAC experience.
* Experience with commercial boilers, CSD-1 testing, refrigeration, rooftop units, walk-in coolers.
* Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
* High school diploma, GED, or technical certification.
* Ability to follow instructions, read drawings, and pay attention to detail.
* On-call availability.
* Team-oriented approach.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
* Ability to pass background and DMV checks.
