The business has expanded and grown in recent times to encompass all things digital; social media platforms; events, sponsorships, TV and video productions; Podcasts, additional magazine titles, books, education – and lots more besides.
As we begin activities celebrating
Hot Press'
50th Anniversary we have some extremely exciting plans and developments.
The design role will involve:
* Creating visual layouts, and design for the magazine's print issues, special editions, books and events, along with other senior designers.
* Helping to develop the magazine's visual brand identity across print, digital, social media, and promotional campaigns
* Collaborating with editorial, photography, and marketing teams to create cohesive, high-impact sponsored content designs
* Keeping up with design and social media trends to keep Hot Press readers and followers engaged and interested on all of our platforms
* Developing design concepts for advertising campaigns, branded content, Hot Press events, and commercial partnerships.
Candidates for this role should ideally have:
– Degree in Graphic Design/ Visual Communications or similar
– Experience in working on print publications, digital and social media
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
– Experience in video editing, animation/ motion graphics/ canva is advantageous
– The ability to work quickly and pivot well in a fast-moving working environment
