Equipment Specialist Role
This is a challenging opportunity to utilize your technical expertise as an experienced Equipment Specialist at a provider of cutting-edge medical technologies.
We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Limerick operations, ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our manufacturing equipment.
* Key responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the Operations Manager, ensuring adherence to Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, addressing downtime and process-related issues efficiently, and actively sharing knowledge within the team.
* Contribute to identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and yield optimization initiatives across the broader group.
* Participate in and support Continuous Improvement Projects activities.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in line with 6S principles.
* Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Diploma/Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a relevant manufacturing field.
* Technical Skills: High degree of computer literacy, knowledge of CAD, electrical, and mechanical drawings, experience with industrial, mechanical, and electrical safety standards, familiarity with BMS and CMMS, proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
* Industry Experience: Minimum two years experience in a Mechanical industry post graduation, background in the medical devices industry desirable.
* Mechanical Skills: Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of meeting timelines and managing multiple projects across different departments.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to share knowledge effectively and work as part of a team.
* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
* Willingness to Learn: Open to acquiring new skills and knowledge.
